SWDC Trial Rules
1.
DOGS MUST BE SECURELY CRATED IN A VEHICLE, CRATED IN A
DESIGNATED AREA, OR SUPERVISED ON LEASH AT ALL TIMES. The ONLY exception to
this is for the dog that is on the field while being judged.
2.
No dogs may be in the trial field vicinity during
judging.
3.
All dogs must be secured in a crate during the
protection phase. The ONLY exception to this is for the dog that is on the
field while being judged.
4.
Do not congregate near the designated field entry/exit
area or entry check-in area or entry.
5.
Please honor all roped or posted signs and designated
areas.
6.
CHILDEREN MUST BE under the direct supervision of the
parent or guardian AT ALL TIMES.
7.
ONLY CLUB AUTHORIZED PERSONS ARE ALLOWED ON THE FIELD.
8.
PARTICIPATION IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. This includes
spectators.
9.
NO pinch or electric collars may be used on the
grounds.
10.
NO food may be used on the trial field during practice.
11.
Exercise dogs only in designated areas.
12.
Pick-up after your dog, your group, and yourself.
13.
Trial order shall be at the discretion of the judge and
is subject to change.
14.
Photography and videoing is permitted from outside the
field; except that NO camera flashes or photo lighting while dog is on or
entering the field. See rule #4.
15.
Entered & unentered dogs over 4 months of age must
have proof of current rabies vaccination in the form of a rabies vaccination
certificate or letter from your veterinarian evidencing vaccination.
16.
SWDC reserves the right to request any person or dog to
leave the trial grounds or limit access with or without cause if it is deemed
to be in the best interest of the SWDC or the event.
